10 Kitty Strings

Kitty Strings is a premium brand of 100% polyester yoyo string. If you are looking for more consistency in string length and quality, then these are the strings for you. They are also longer than our standard mixed strings at 125cm. The access string can be cut shorter to suit your needs. Please see our tutorial page for instructions on how to replace the string and adjust the string length.

The fat strings are slightly thicker than the regular Kitty Strings. You can choose this option for tighter binds with your unresponsive yoyo, although the regular works fine too. The extra weight of the fat string also makes for smoother whip and slack tricks.

Every yoyo comes with one free string in the box. You can play with a string until it becomes too dirty or it snaps, but a fresh string plays a lot nicer, binds better, and is gentler on the fingers. A string should last a couple of days or weeks, depending on how much you play.

Yoyos 4 Africa cares about the planet, so we no longer use single-use plastic ziploc bags for our strings. The strings are simply tied together in a bundle.
